How to use gitweb on ubuntu?

I have been using git for a long time and also hosting my public projects on [github](http://github.com/mengu). When I asked at [#git](irc://irc.freenode.net/git) about if there are any other projects which lets me browse my repository, they told me about [gitweb](http://git.or.cz/gitwiki/Gitweb).
